TechnologyGoogle Developing Voice-Activated Emergency SOS for Android Phones
Google is reportedly developing a voice-activated Emergency SOS feature for Android phones, allowing users to call for help by saying "Help" three times. The feature, found in the code of Google's Personal Safety app, may require spoken confirmation to prevent accidental calls. Once triggered, it could share real-time location, start emergency video recording, and call first responders. This complements the existing SOS feature activated by pressing the power button five times.
