A Georgia family was shocked to discover their dog, Cha Cha, whom they had paid to euthanise due to diabetic ketoacidosis, was alive after seeing a Facebook post. The dog was taken home by a veterinary clinic worker instead of being euthanised immediately. After confronting the clinic, the dog was euthanised, causing further distress. Owner Rebecca Belote called the situation "just sick."
