Foreign Investors Sell Rs 9,484 Crore, Four-Day Total Nears Rs 35,000 Crore
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 9,484 crore on October 1, pushing their total selling over four trading sessions to nearly Rs 34,965 crore. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 10,042 crore during this period. The heavy FII selling is driven by weak Indian equities, high crude prices, rising US Treasury yields, and rupee pressure.
