flydubai pilot suffers skull fracture after cockpit attack in Saudi

Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian pilot on a flydubai flight to Tel Aviv, suffered a depressed skull fracture after being attacked by his Omani co-pilot Hamad Al-Hammami inside the cockpit. The co-pilot allegedly tried to take control of the plane carrying over 170 people. Despite severe injuries and heavy bleeding, Machchhar unlocked the cockpit door, enabling crew intervention. He underwent surgery in Saudi Arabia.
