Farmer Leader Kodihalli Chandrashekhar Arrested in Decade-Old Rail Roko Cases

Kodihalli Chandrashekhar, chief of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene (Kodihalli faction), was arrested by the Railway Protection Force in Sirsi for rail roko protests held in 2013 and 2019 over the Mahadayi water sharing issue. He was remanded to judicial custody for 12 days by a Hubballi court and shifted to Vishweshwar Nagar sub-jail. Non-bailable warrants were issued after he failed to appear in court.
