ED Summons GLADA Chief Over CLU Approvals in Punjab

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has expanded its probe into alleged land diversion and change of use of an industrial plot allotted by the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC). The ED has sought an explanation from the Housing Department on bypassing mandatory checks for residential development approvals in 2019 and has summoned the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) chief for questioning.
