ED Seizes Land Worth ₹336 Crore in Jai Corp Money Laundering Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Mumbai zonal office-II has provisionally seized 88.47 acres of land in Alibaug valued at ₹336 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. Jai Corp Limited and others are accused of raising ₹2434 crore through a fund launched in 2006-07, which SEBI later ordered to close due to financial irregularities. The investigation follows a CBI FIR and a Mumbai High Court order dated January 31, 2025.
