ECI says no party sought meeting before 4 PM amid INDIA bloc protest

The Election Commission of India (ECI) stated that no political party requested a meeting with the poll panel before 4 PM on Tuesday. This came after leaders of the INDIA bloc marched to Nirvachan Sadan to protest against the ECI and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Around 4 PM, Delhi Police informed the ECI that a delegation of about 300 MPs, led by Rahul Gandhi, wished to meet the Election Commissioners and submit a memorandum at the Parliament House Annexe.
