Devils Acquire Goalie Connor Hellebuyck from Jets in Major Trade

The New Jersey Devils have acquired top NHL goaltender Connor Hellebuyck from the Winnipeg Jets in a blockbuster trade. Hellebuyck, who requested a trade and was suspended this season, joins the Devils as they sent forwards Dawson Mercer, Nick Bjugstad, Alexander Command, goalie Nico Daws, and draft picks in 2027 and 2029 to Winnipeg. The trade coincided with the end of Hellebuyck's suspension, ending his tenure with the Jets and boosting the Devils' goaltending.

Cook Dies After Car Drags Him 100 Metres in Bengaluru

Ranjith Kumar Sahu, a 25-year-old cook from Bihar, died after three unidentified men rammed a car into him and dragged him for nearly 100 metres in Bengaluru's Electronics City. The incident occurred around 1:50 am on October 21 in Pragathi Nagar. Sahu was initially treated at a private hospital in Madiwala but succumbed to his injuries. A murder case has been registered following the attack.

Centre Bans Reuse of Single-Use Medical Devices in Hospitals
