Delhi deploys 2,947 bus marshals, runs 56 special buses for women

The Delhi government has deployed 2,947 bus marshals in Delhi Transport Corporation buses and operates 56 special buses for women, including 15 evening buses with armed women police after 5 pm. All buses are connected to a Bus Management System with panic alarms, live CCTV, and GPS monitored 24/7. Additional accommodation for working women will be introduced soon in Vishwas Nagar and Rohini. Child protection measures are also strengthened.
