Cyclone Arnab Floods Ease in Odisha's Ganjam and Gajapati

Floodwaters have receded in Odisha, where 700 people remain stranded after Cyclone Arnab severely affected nine southern districts, especially Ganjam and Gajapati. Over 1.5 lakh people in Ganjam and 30,000 in Gajapati were impacted. Authorities evacuated 56,051 people to 367 relief camps and distributed cooked food at 370 locations. Helicopters delivered food packets to isolated villages. Schools in Ganjam remain closed until November 3 due to flooding. Transport and power services are being restored.
