Conservatives are rapidly growing classical Christian schools by using new taxpayer-funded scholarships, now available to half of U.S. school-age children. The Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) formed a coalition with groups like Turning Point Education and the Heritage Foundation to create or convert 5,000 schools with 1.5 million students in a decade. ACCS President David Goodwin calls it a historic opportunity, while critics raise concerns about public schools and church-state separation.
