Congress Questions Delay in FIR on Ram Temple Offering Theft

The theft of offerings at Ayodhya's Ram Temple has sparked political controversy alongside the investigation. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh highlighted 105 theft incidents and recovery of Rs 79.85 lakh. He questioned the 21-day delay in filing the FIR after CCTV footage surfaced and asked if accountability would extend beyond minor thieves to those overseeing the temple. Eight accused have been named, including former trustees Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, who resigned after questioning.
