CJI Surya Kant Refuses Meeting Congress Over 'Separation of Power'
Chief Justice of India Surya Kant declined requests from Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi to meet on Monday. They wanted to discuss allegations of 'vote chori' amid protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Delhi. The CJI said meeting them would violate the principle of separation of power.
