ChipIN Centre Onboards Over 1 Lakh Engineers to Boost India's Semiconductor Sector
The ChipIN Centre has onboarded over 1 lakh engineers from 500+ organizations, including 400 academic institutions and 100 startups, under the C2S Programme and DLI Scheme. These participants accessed advanced chip-design tools and training, producing 300+ chip designs and logging over 4 crore hours of tool usage. The government supports 12 semiconductor projects with Rs 1.64 lakh crore investment, advancing India's semiconductor ecosystem.
