The central government has amended procedures to distinguish passengers on interline and codeshare flights from those on the hub-and-spoke model after an immigration lapse at Delhi airport in September. Now, the second boarding pass for interline and codeshare passengers will be issued at connecting airports post-immigration, while baggage remains tagged at origin. Air India’s hub-and-spoke flights will continue issuing both passes at origin.
