Cargo Vessel Sinks Off Beypore Coast; All Eight Crew Rescued

A cargo vessel named MSV Jesus Heart sank about 18 nautical miles off the Beypore coast late Tuesday night while traveling from Beypore to Kavaratti, Lakshadweep. The ship was carrying around 160 tonnes of construction materials and other goods. The Indian Coast Guard launched a rescue operation, and all eight crew members were safely rescued and brought to shore by Wednesday morning.
