Bihar's First Greenfield North-South Corridor to Open Before Next Lok Sabha Election
Bihar's first greenfield North-South corridor, connecting Aurangabad-Gaya's Amas to Darbhanga's Bela, is set to be fully operational before the next Lok Sabha elections. The 199 km corridor, designated as National Highway NH-119D, is divided into four packages with 50% construction completed. Originally planned for March 2026, the deadline has been extended to March 2028 due to slow progress despite resolved land acquisition issues. The project costs ₹6930 crore.
