Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026 to Showcase 50,000 Sq Ft AI Robotics Pavilion

The 29th Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2026 will feature a 50,000-sq ft AI and Robotics Pavilion displaying robots, AI systems, drones, and hardware. IT-BT Minister Priyank Kharge reviewed preparations. About 101 robotics and drone startups will participate, showcasing live demos, humanoids, autonomous racing, and an AI Digital Twin Simulator of Bengaluru. The event runs November 17-19 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre under the theme "AI Beyond."

During this season's Ganesha Chaturthi in Bengaluru, inflatable gorilla costumes, standing 8.5 to 10 feet tall, became a popular attraction at immersion processions. The performers in these suits mimicked gorilla behavior, entertaining and sometimes startling crowds. Known as 'King Kong' on social media, these costumes are gaining popularity for festivals like Navaratri and Durga Puja. Prices range from Rs 25,000 for purchase to Rs 5,000-10,000 for short-term rentals. The costumes are imported from China and supplied locally by The Trendy Events from Kerala.
