All Five NPP MLAs Join NPF in Nagaland Assembly

All five National People's Party (NPP) MLAs joined the ruling Naga People's Front (NPF) on Thursday, increasing NPF's strength to 39 in the 60-member Nagaland Assembly. The merger took place in Dimapur in the presence of NPF President and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, party general secretary Achumbemo Kikon, and other leaders. The MLAs include A. Nyamnyi Konyak, Nuklutoshi, C. Kipili Sangtam, Tselhoutu Ruto, and Benei M. Lamthiu.

Kochi multiplex inspections to continue in October over food pricing
