BusinessWorld Bank Raises India's FY27 GDP Growth Forecast to 7.1%
The World Bank has increased India's GDP growth forecast for FY27 from 6.6% to 7.1%, citing strong 7.8% growth in Q1 and robust domestic demand. Support also came from investment, private consumption, industry, and services sectors. Similarly, Moody's raised its GDP growth estimate from 6% to 7%, while Nomura highlighted higher-than-expected interest rate hike expectations in the market.
