Construction has started on a ₹3200 crore, 65 km long, 4-lane Greenfield Expressway between Aligarh and Agra. The new expressway will reduce travel time between the two cities from two and a half hours to just one hour. It will connect Agra's Khandoli area with the Yamuna Expressway and Bareilly-Mathura Highway near Hathras, improving connectivity to Delhi-NCR, Noida, and Jewar Airport while easing local traffic congestion.
