Woman Discovers 103-Year-Old Shipwreck Near Lake Superior

Hannah Damon, a mother and outreach director at Camp Amnicon Adventures in Wisconsin, discovered the remains of the 103-year-old AH Pitz steam-powered tugboat near the Amnicon River mouth by Lake Superior. The wreck, revealed due to low water levels, was deliberately sunk in 1952 after being run aground and set on fire. Damon had heard about the shipwreck for over a decade but saw it for the first time recently.

Delhi HC refuses to stay probe into journalists accused of casteist remarks on ACP...

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday declined to stay the investigation into two journalists accused of making casteist remarks against ACP Vivek Bhagat. The journalists allegedly humiliated the officer and obstructed his duties during an October 3 protest. Justice Mini Pushkarna said the investigation cannot be stayed without reviewing the Delhi Police's status report. The court issued notice on the petition seeking quashing of the FIR against the journalists.
