Wildlife Week Nature Walk in Palakkad Spots 30 Bird Species

During Wildlife Week, a 2.5-km nature walk was organized by the Biodiversity Management Committee of Akathethara grama panchayat in Palakkad. Held at Chendamangalam wetlands and Kunnampara Biodiversity Park, the event involved 53 participants and was conducted in association with the Birds Club of Government Victoria College. Around 30 bird species were recorded, including the notable Lesser coucal, emphasizing habitat protection and human-wildlife coexistence.
