Rooms accumulate dust even with closed windows because much of the dust originates indoors. According to Deepak Kumar H, CEO of Papillon Interiors, activities like walking, sitting, changing bedsheets, and moving curtains release tiny particles into the air. Soft furnishings such as curtains, sofas, mattresses, carpets, and cushions shed microscopic textile fibers that mix with skin flakes, hair, and outdoor particles, causing dust buildup.
