White House Honors Late Charlie Kirk as Christian Martyr on 33rd Birthday
The White House commemorated the late Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 33rd birthday, calling him a "Christian martyr" and a "titan of the conservative movement." Kirk, 31, was fatally shot by Tyler Robinson on September 10, 2025, during a campus event at Utah Valley University in Orem. President Donald Trump and Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, were featured in a White House Instagram post marking a National Day of Remembrance. Trump also urged Arizona voters to honor Kirk by voting Republican at a rally on October 14.
