West Bengal to Provide Land for Indian Oil's Haldia Expansion

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari assured Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) that the state government will assist in providing land for its long-pending expansion plan in Haldia. IOC plans to develop a petrochemical complex alongside its refinery. The expansion requires 175 acres, with 85 acres already provided by Haldia Development Authority. The remaining land will come via Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port's Haldia Dock Complex. IOC will now present the project to its board for approval.
