Washington Post Photographer Attacked by Israeli Settlers in West Bank

Heidi Levine, a Washington Post photojournalist, was attacked by over 50 masked Israeli settlers while covering violence against Palestinian olive farmers near Abu Falah and Turmus Ayya in the West Bank. Wearing a helmet and flak jacket likely saved her life. She was hospitalized in Ramallah and later transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Israel. The settlers also set olive trees on fire and threw stones during the attack.
