VISL Reports Third Consecutive Monthly Profit, Losses Drop Over Rs 20 Crore

Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant (VISL) in Bhadravathi posted net profits for three straight months: Rs 0.33 crore in July, Rs 1.71 crore in August, and Rs 1.96 crore in September 2026. September revenue nearly doubled to Rs 51.87 crore from Rs 27.48 crore last year. Cumulative losses fell to Rs 2.03 crore from Rs 22.77 crore, improving by over Rs 20 crore. Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy praised the workforce's commitment.
