Vijay Sankar to Lead FICCI in Its Centenary Year

Vijay Sankar, Chairman of The Sanmar Group, has been named President-Elect of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for 2026-27. He will succeed Anant Goenka after FICCI's annual meeting in New Delhi in November. Sankar is the first Tamil Nadu-based industrialist to lead FICCI in over 20 years. FICCI, founded in 1927, is one of India's oldest industry associations.
