Vena Energy to Sell 49% Stake in 500 MW Philippine Solar Project

Vena Energy has agreed to sell a 49% equity stake in its 500 MW Ixus Bugallon solar project in Bugallon, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Norfund and Impact Fund Denmark. The deal awaits approval from the Philippine Competition Commission. The project will supply power to about 650,000 households and reduce carbon emissions by 570,000 metric tons annually. CEO Nitin Apte highlighted the project's significance for Vena Energy in the Philippines.
