Vedanta Q2 Profit Rises 78% to Rs 6,202 Crore; Revenue Up 57%

Vedanta Ltd reported a 78% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 6,202 crore for the September quarter, up from Rs 3,479 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 57% to Rs 26,356 crore. EBITDA more than doubled to Rs 9,938 crore, a 106% increase. Sequentially, profit grew 17%, revenue 10%, and EBITDA 17%. The EBITDA margin excluding copper improved to 60%. Strong performance was driven by higher commodity prices, favorable forex, and increased production.
