Vedanta Q2 Profit Falls 33% After Demerger; EBITDA Rises 17%

Vedanta Ltd.'s consolidated net profit for Q2 fell 33.3% sequentially to Rs 3,650 crore due to demerged businesses dropping out. However, profit from continuing operations rose 17% QoQ to Rs 6,202 crore. Revenue increased 8.9% to Rs 26,356 crore, and EBITDA rose 16.6% to Rs 9,915 crore with a margin of 37.6%. Compared to last year, revenue rose 57.5% and EBITDA more than doubled.
