VACB Arrests Second TDB Staffer in Sabarimala Ghee Diversion Case

The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) arrested Jayalal, a Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) employee, for alleged irregularities in the supply of ghee to Sabarimala temple during the 2025 pilgrimage. He is the second arrest after contractor S S Binu, accused of diverting 11,000 litres of ghee to Tamil Nadu agencies, causing a ₹2.5 crore loss to TDB. Jayalal allegedly falsified records to cover the diversion.
