Uttarakhand Minister Files FIR Against Husband for Assault, Casteist Abuse

Uttarakhand Women and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya filed an FIR on October 15 against her husband, Girdhari Lal Sahu, accusing him of physical assault, harassment, casteist slurs, and death threats. The FIR was registered at Dehradun Cantt police station under sections including the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. Arya, BJP MP from Someshwar, Almora, also alleged forgery and deception regarding his previous marriages.
