Uttar Pradesh Raises Dearness Allowance by 5% for Employees

The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 5% for state government employees, aided educational and technical institution staff, urban local body employees, work-charged employees, and those on UGC pay scales. The DA will rise from 58% to 63%, effective July 1, 2026, and will be paid with November 2026 salaries, benefiting lakhs of employees across the state.
