Uttar Pradesh Leads India in Rooftop Solar Installations in September

In September, Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of rooftop solar installations in India under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, with 74,796 installations. Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra followed with 69,813 and 60,907 installations respectively. UP averaged 2,493 installations daily and accounted for nearly 17% of the 4,38,815 installations nationwide. Cumulatively, UP has 8,67,755 installations with 2,911.39 MW capacity, closely trailing Gujarat's 8,70,152 installations.
