BusinessUS Tightens H-1B and Green Card Rules Affecting Major IT Firms
The US administration under President Donald Trump has suspended several major IT and outsourcing companies, including Microsoft, Adobe, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, and Capgemini, from the Permanent Labour Certification Programme (PERM). Vance stated Microsoft can no longer apply for permanent residency via PERM for H-1B visa holders amid ongoing investigations.
