US Team Develops Fast Airborne Radioactivity Detection Method
A US research team from the University of Michigan and PSI has developed a new method to detect radioactivity from 100 feet above ground within seconds. This airborne technique uses Bayesian inference for faster and more accurate radiation detection, improving monitoring capabilities. The method was reported by Michigan Engineering News and the American Nuclear Society.
