US Stocks Open Higher as Software Gains Offset Bond Pressure
Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Thursday, driven by gains in software stocks. Despite inflation and rising government debt concerns pushing Treasury yields to over two-decade highs, the Dow Jones rose 91.75 points (0.18%) to 50,997.80, the S&P 500 gained 19.39 points (0.25%) to 7,670.93, and the Nasdaq Composite increased 120.49 points (0.46%) to 26,984.50 at the opening bell.
