US Navy Removes Maj. Scott Laux from Blue Angels Team

The U.S. Navy has removed Marine Corps Maj. Scott Laux from the Blue Angels flight demonstration team for failing to meet squadron standards. Laux, the No. 6 opposing solo pilot, will not participate in any remaining 2026 season performances. The decision was confirmed by the Chief of Naval Air Training during the Blue Angels' Homecoming Air Show at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida.
