US National Mathew VanDyke Appears in Delhi Court in Myanmar Arms Case

US national Mathew VanDyke appeared before a Delhi court after returning from the US, complying with the court's order to appear within 72 hours of his return. VanDyke and six Ukrainian nationals were arrested in March under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act but later charged only under the Immigration and Foreigners Act. VanDyke paid compounding fees and was granted default bail. The six Ukrainians have not returned to India yet.
