US Health Secretary Kennedy Launches Vaccine Injury Study
US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has initiated a government-wide effort to study and document health issues reported after vaccination. Kennedy, known for questioning vaccine safety and founding an anti-vaccine group, aims to reshape federal immunization policy. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has awarded about $5 billion since 1988 for 14 compensable injuries across 16 vaccine types.
