US Forces Disable Cargo Ship Attempting to Breach Iran Blockade

On October 10, US Central Command reported that a US fighter jet disabled the Panama-flagged cargo vessel M/V Ocean Molica in the Gulf of Oman by striking its propulsion system with a precision munition. The vessel ignored warnings and tried to breach the US naval blockade against Iran. No crew were harmed. Since July 14, US forces have disabled four commercial vessels and turned back 135 ships enforcing the blockade.
