US EIA Raises Brent Oil Price Forecast to $98 Amid Iran Conflict
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has increased its Brent crude oil price forecast to an average of $98 per barrel in 2026 due to tightening global supplies linked to the Iran conflict. Retail diesel prices are expected to stay high initially but gradually fall to about $4.50 by 2027. Middle Eastern oil production is predicted to improve as transit routes become safer and more efficient.
