US Buyers Fund Child Sexual Abuse in Philippines

Nearly half a million Filipino children are coerced into producing sexual content for paying customers, mostly from the US. Between 2020 and 2022, American buyers sent over $7 million for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) from the Philippines. The country is a hotspot for livestreamed child exploitation, with one in 100 Filipino children trafficked for such content, often facilitated by female family members.
