Uran's Priyanshi, 14, to Represent India in Youth Olympics Sailing

Priyanshi Patil, a 14-year-old from Uran in Maharashtra's Raigad district, will represent India in the women's windsurfing event at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal, starting November 8, 2026. She began windsurfing training in February 2025 and quickly rose in the sport despite limited resources and no full-time coach. Priyanshi's journey started after her cousin introduced her to sailing in her coastal town near Mumbai.
