UPSC CDS I 2026 Final Result Declared; 243 Recommended for Defence Academies

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), 2026. Lohitaksh Mahajan topped the merit lists for all three academies. A total of 243 candidates qualified for the 162nd course at Indian Military Academy (155), Indian Naval Academy (63), and Air Force Academy (25). The written exam was held in April 2026, followed by SSB interviews.
