UPI Transactions Reach Record Rs 31.53 Lakh Crore in October

India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) hit a record high in October, with the average daily transaction value surpassing Rs 1 lakh crore for the first time. The total transaction value reached Rs 31.53 lakh crore, exceeding the previous record of Rs 29.9 lakh crore from May 2026. UPI processed 25.47 billion transactions in October, averaging 821 million daily, boosted by festive season spending.
