UPI Crosses 800 Million Daily Transactions in September

India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) processed over 800 million transactions daily on average in September for the first time, totaling 24.07 billion transactions worth Rs 29.37 lakh crore. Despite being slightly lower than August's record, the data shows strong digital payment growth. Daily transaction value averaged nearly Rs 97,913 crore, reflecting deepening digital payment adoption, said Anand Kumar Bajaj of PayNearby.
